Abstract Background Achieving the UNAIDS 95% sustained viral suppression (VS) rate requires considerable global efforts, particularly among adolescents living with HIV (ALHIV) who are often associated high rates of virological failure (VF). In this study, we prospectively assessed VS, and factors VF in a cohort followed up according to WHO guidelines Cameroon. Methods A cross-sectional study was carried out 2021 (aged 10–19 years) receiving ART national program Socio-demographic clinical...

We conducted 2 independent population-based SARS-CoV-2 serosurveys in Yaoundé, Cameroon, during January 27-February 6 and April 24-May 19, 2021. Overall age-standardized IgG seroprevalence increased from 18.6% the first survey to 51.3% second (p<0.001). This finding illustrates high community transmission wave of COVID-19.

Evidence comparing the economic and patient values of World Health Organization's preferred (dolutegravir 50 mg [DTG]-based) alternative (low-dose [400 mg] efavirenz [EFV400]-based) first-line antiretroviral regimens is limited. We compared patient-reported outcomes (PROs), costs, cost-utility DTG- versus EFV400-based in treatment-naive HIV-1 adults randomised NAMSAL ANRS 12313 trial Yaoundé, Cameroon. used clinical data, PROs, health resource use data collected trial's first 96 weeks...
