The aim of this research was to determine the sun protection factor (SPF) sunscreens emulsions containing chemical and physical by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. Ten different commercially available samples sunscreen various manufactures were evaluated. SPF labeled values in range 8 30. 30% analyzed are close agreement with SPF, presented above amount 40% under amount. proposed spectrophotometric method is simple rapid for vitro determination emulsions.

ABSTRACT Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is still being late diagnosed in Brazilian population, which implies worst survival rates. The present clinical case aimed to report a 64-year-old female patient that was referred the university with main complain of lump on tongue. During anamnesis, she did not addictions, such as smoking or drinking. Extra-oral physical examination revealed an increase and stiffening submandibular lymph nodes. Chemotherapy-induced oral mucositis is a frequent therapeutic challenge in cancer patients. The purpose of this retrospective study was to estimate the prevalence and risk factors 169 acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) patients treated according different chemotherapeutic trials at Darcy Vargas Children's Hospital from 1994 2005. Demographic data, clinical history, treatment patients' follow-up were recorded. association with age, gender, leucocyte counts diagnosis assessed by chi-squared...

This study investigated if tumor-associated tissue eosinophilia (TATE) could be associated with the process of invasion in oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCCs) and its influence on patient's prognosis. Forty-three patients treated for OSCCs or without lymph nodes involvement, at A. C. Camargo Cancer Hospital, Brazil, were selected TATE analysis. Two degrees established OSCC: absent/mild intense. The was evaluated relation to clinicopathological features prognostic value using χ 2 test...
