The optical microscope is customarily an instrument of substantial size and expense but limited performance. Here we report integrated that achieves performance beyond a commercial with 5×, NA 0.1 objective only at 0.15 cm3 0.5 g, whose five orders magnitude smaller than conventional microscope. To achieve this, progressive optimization pipeline proposed which systematically optimizes both aspherical lenses diffractive elements over 30 times memory reduction compared to the end-to-end...

Abstract Rock‐climbing robots have significant potential in fieldwork and planetary exploration. However, they currently face limitations such as a lack of stability adaptability on extreme terrains, slow locomotion, single functionality. This study introduces novel multimodal adaptive rock‐climbing robot (MARCBot), which addresses these through spiny grippers that draw inspiration from morpho‐functionalities observed beetles, arboreal birds, hoofed animals. hybrid bioinspired design enables...

The phase behavior and critical parameters of CO2 (1) + pentane (2) acetone were determined experimentally, their densities measured in both the subcritical supercritical regions. isothermal compressibility (KT) was calculated using density data. It is demonstrated that sensitive to pressure as approaches point mixtures, is, KT large increases sharply. also significantly dew or bubble at other compositions close composition. However, very small not well above point. When composition far from...

Bimetallic Fe/Ni nanoparticles were synthesized and their nitrate reduction capacity was studied. Nitrate (354 mg L−1, equal to 5.71 mmol L−1) performed using with various Ni contents (1.0, 5.0, 10 20%) in an unbuffered condition. Optimum rate () obtained 5.0% nano-scale Fe/Ni, while only 25% transformed by Fe0 within the same reaction time, which means that these bimetallic are obviously more reactive than mono-metallic Fe0. For this system a near-neutral initial pH (6.5) is favourable...

Ambulatory blood pressure (BP) monitoring (ABPM) is vital for screening cardiovascular activity. The American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association guideline the prevention, detection, evaluation, and management BP in adults recommends measuring outside office setting using daytime ABPM. recommendation to use night-day measurements confirm hypertension consistent with several other guidelines. In recent studies, ABPM was used measure at regular intervals, it reduces effect...

The sealing of large diameter rotating shaft in some special applications especially aerospace and military industry needs to be sealed with magnetic fluids. However, the major problems restricting application fluid rotary seal is decrease pressure-re sistance capacity at high temperatures bigger breakaway torque low temperatures. To research effect temperature on pressure-resistance seal, a device size for 190 mm gap 0.1 was designed. Through experimental test studied −55 °C–70 °C °C–20 °C,...

Clinical radiation therapy (RT) is often hindered by the low energy absorption coefficient and hypoxic features of tumor tissues. Among tremendous efforts devoted to overcoming barriers efficient RT, application radiosensitizers cell-cycle-specific chemotherapeutics has shown great potential. However, their effectiveness compromised limited bioavailability, especially in region, which plays a major role radioresistance. Herein, simultaneously improve delivery efficacy both radiosensitizer...
