Polyethersulfone was sulfonated by heterogeneous method with chlorosulfonic acid. Ion exchange capacity controlled to 0.68 meq/g reduce fouling. Sulfonation confirmed Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance. polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membranes were prepared successively the typical phase inversion method. Membrane performance of compared that polyethersulfone. In preparation membranes, effect addition dichloromethane poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) in a...
Introduction: The coexistence of two distinct atrioventricular (AV) nodes has been described in congenital heart disease requiring Fontan type palliation. purpose this study was to evaluate the occurrence twin AV node according anatomical subgroups, and determine its relation tachycardia. Methods: From 2001 2003, we performed an electrophysiologic (EP) upon 52 consecutive patients who had undergone cardiac catheterization after completion. Atrial pacing at three or more different atrial...
The purpose of this study was to evaluate cell toxicity due ion release caused by galvanic corrosion as a result contact between base metal and titanium.MATERIALS AND METHODS.It hypothesized that Nickel (Ni)-Chromium (Cr) alloys with different compositions possess resistances when contacted titanium abutment, therefore in study, specimens (10×10×1.5mm) were fabricated using commercial pure 3 types Ni-Cr (T3, Tilite, Bella bond plus) commonly used for ceramic restorations. The divided into 6...
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect nano-structured alumina surface coating on shear bond strength between Y-TZP ceramic and various dual-cured resin cements. A total 90 disk-shaped zirconia specimens (HASS CO., Gangneung, Korea) were divided into three groups by treatment method: (1) airborne particle abrasion, (2) tribochemicalsilica coating, (3) coating. Each group categorized subgroups ten bonded with different types After thermocycling, measured failure modes observed...
Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) has recently become a management option for pediatric tachycardia. We reviewed the records of total 100 patients (aged 10 months to 19 yr) who had undergone RFCA, from March 2000 June 2004. Types arrhythmia (age, acute success rate) were as follows: atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia (AVRT, 9.0+/-3.7 yr, 66/67), nodal (AVNRT, 13+/-2.5 16/16), ectopic atrial (6.4+/-3.3 5/5), junctional (10 month, 1/1), ventricular (12+/-4.9 6/6), postsurgical...
It is difficult to make a definitive diagnosis of congenital junctional ectopic tachycardia (JET) in utero. We report case which congenial JET was suspected by fetal M‐mode echocardiography. Fetal tracing the atria and ventricle clearly showed gradual acceleration ventricular activity at beginning tachycardia, warming‐up sign followed simultaneous contractions atrium ventricle. This also describes successful emergent radiofrequency catheter ablation infancy with preservation normal AV nodal...
We report the optical and magneto-optical properties of ${({\mathrm{C}}_{5}{\mathrm{H}}_{9}\mathrm{N}{\mathrm{H}}_{3})}_{2}\mathrm{Cu}{\mathrm{Br}}_{4}$, an $S=1∕2$ low-dimensional molecular antiferromagnet. Complementary electronic structure calculations demonstrate that color this material are dominated by excitations $\mathrm{Cu}{\mathrm{Br}}_{4}^{2\ensuremath{-}}$ chromophore. In applied magnetic field,...
The frequency of sudden cardiac death increases in the morning. relationship between decreased complexity heart rate dynamics and has been documented. An understanding circadian variation may be important to predict prevent death. Dynamic 24-h electrocardiographic recordings were obtained from 30 healthy ambulant subjects aged 41-50 years, digitized data partitioned into sections min duration. For each section, four indexes separate algorithms non-linear RR interval--modified correlation...
Ball‐milled and chemically activated pitch‐based carbon fibers ( PCF ) were prepared for use as electrode materials. Ball milling altered the structure of from to micro‐sized particles with loss porosity. In contrast, chemical activation using KOH facilitated development pore structures. The supercapacitive behavior treated was assessed cyclic voltammetry galvanostatic charge/discharge experiments in 6 M electrolytic solution. BAPCF900 , sample subjected combined ball treatment, at 900 °C,...

In crossed occlusion, displacement of removable partial denture is likely to occur during function due different characteristics abutment and supporting tissue. It increases discomfort the patient. addition, adverse effect on residual ridge can induce an unfavorable prognosis denture. this case, a small number implants be placed in strategic locations. Attachment added for additional support retention assisted by implants. This article describes rehabilitation occlusion patient using...
Background:Since the introduction of atrial switch operation, outlook for patients with complete transposition great arteries (TGA) has improved dramatically. However, many survivors are afflicted postoperative complications and continue to demand medical attention. We therefore performed study evaluation clinical course in TGA after operation. Methods:We analyzed data 51 who underwent operation at Seoul National University Hospital between January 1981 June 1993 retrospectively. Results:The...
Purpose : This study assessed the long term survival rate and complications of patients who had a modified Fontan operation for functionally univentricular cardiac anomaly. Methods Between June 1986 December 2000, 302 with functional single ventricle underwent surgical interventions were followed up until February 2006. The mean follow-up period was 8.3±5.3 years (range 3.5-18 years). Their median age 2.4 at operation. rate, incidence risk factor late evaluated retrospectively. Results...
