Metal oxides (MOs) having Mg and Al with Mg/Al ratios of 1, 2, 3, 4 were synthesized via calcination the layered double hydroxides (LDH). The X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that all MO consisted periclase (MgO) crystallite comparable crystallinity regardless metal ratio.
