The resveratrol-induced cardiac protection was studied in Zucker obese rats. Rats were divided into five groups: group 1, lean control; 2, control (OC); 3, rats treated orally with 5 mg·kg −1 ·day of resveratrol (OR) for 2 wk; 4, received 10% glucose solution ad libitum 3 wk (OG); and 5, (OGR) during the 2nd 3rd wk. Body weight, serum glucose, insulin measured, then hearts isolated subjected to 30 min ischemia followed by 120 reperfusion. Heart rate, coronary flow, aortic developed pressure,...

The effects of kernel extract obtained from sour cherry ( Prunus cerasus) seed on the postischemic cardiac recovery were studied in isolated working rat hearts. Rats treated with various daily doses for 14 days, and hearts then subjected to 30 min global ischemia followed by 120 reperfusion. incidence ventricular fibrillation (VF) tachycardia (VT) fell their control values 92% 100% 50% (not significant) 58% significant), 17% P < 0.05), 25% 0.05) 10 mg/kg extract, respectively. A recent study from our laboratory indicated the cardioprotective ability of tocotrienol-rich fraction (TRF) red palm oil. The present compared abilities different isomers tocotrienol against TRF as recently has been found to function a potent neuroprotective agent stroke. Rats were randomly assigned one following groups: animals given, by gavage, either 0.35%, 1%, or 3.5% for two periods time (2 4 wk) 0.03, 0.3, and 3 mg/kg body wt (alpha, gamma, delta) wk; control vehicle only. After 2 wk,...

Although there are a couple of open-source language processing pipelines available for Hungarian, none them satisfies the requirements today's NLP applications. A pipeline should consist close to state-of-the-art lemmatization, morphosyntactic analysis, entity recognition and word embeddings. Industrial text applications have satisfy non-functional software quality requirements, what is more, frameworks supporting multiple languages more favored. This paper introduces HuSpaCy, an...

Background . The present study aims to examine the oxidative stress-related activation of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), a cause parthanatos in circulating mononuclear leukocytes patients with chronic heart failure (CHF), that was rarely investigated human setting yet. Methods Patients CHF (n=20) and age- body mass index-matched volunteers...

Lemmatization is still not a trivial task for morphologically rich languages. Previous studies showed that hybrid architectures usually work better these languages and can yield great results. This paper presents lemmatizer utilizing both neural model, dictionaries hand-crafted rules. We introduce architecture along with empirical results on widely used Hungarian dataset. The presented methods are published as three HuSpaCy models.

Within the research presented in this article, we created a new question answering benchmark database for Hungarian called MILQA. When creating dataset, basically followed principles of English SQuAD 2.0, however, like some more recent datasets, introduced number innovations beyond SQuAD: e.g., yes/no-questions, list-like answers consisting several text spans, long answers, questions requiring calculation and other types where you cannot simply copy answer from text. For all these...
