In BriefAuthors of this study analyzed hospital readmissions following laminectomy and developed predictive models to identify readmitted patients with an accuracy >95% when using all variables >79% only predischarge variables. A model capable predicting 40% was created the known predischarge. This investigation is important in its provision data that will assist development for readmission as well interventions prevent high-risk patients.

Long-term care facilities (LTCFs) have had a disproportionally high mortality rate due to COVID-19. We describe rapidly escalating COVID-19 outbreak among 116 LTCF residents in Rhode Island, USA.
