Abstract Nanostructured bio-photocatalyst hydroxyapatite (HAp) was synthesized by a simple and productive wet chemical precipitation method to explore the photocatalytic performance of material for degradation Remazol Brilliant Blue R (RBBR) dye. Wet chemically nano-HAp characterized through x-ray diffraction, Transmission electron microscope, scanning N 2 -adsorption–desorption, thermo gravimetric analyzer, Fourier transform infrared UV–vis absorption techniques. Photocatalytic RBBR under...

Pristine and dysprosium-doped ZnO thin films, highly c-axis oriented, were grown on a c-Al2O3 substrate using the pulsed laser deposition technique. During process, growth was impacted by changes in oxygen partial pressure. The structural, optical, compositional properties of pristine films systematically characterized various state-of-the-art experimental techniques. crystallinity associated with these observed to be dependent pressure maintained during process. An average optical...

In this research, we demonstrate a disposable carbon-based paper electrode with engineered surfaces that is capable of detecting glucose in an alkaline medium at concentrations down to 10 μM. The sensitive fabricated by introducing hydrothermally synthesized nickel oxide (NiO) layer on carbon electrode, followed the growth nanostructured molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) pulsed laser deposition NiO layer. surface modification was investigated using transmission electron microscopy and micro-Raman...

The performance of zinc oxide thin film transistors with aluminium nitride (AlN) as insulator is presented. AlN reduces surface roughness the interface by nearly thirty times in comparison to silicon dioxide and six nitride. This results an enhancement mobility order magnitude. states are correspondingly reduced, resulting enhanced properties subthreshold slope on/off ratio.

This work reports a simple method for fabrication of highly sensitive photo-detector based on uniform nano-crystalline CdS thick films deposited glass substrate by spray pyrolysis technique. The presented platform contains (3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 μm) Ag electrode structure. In order to detect incident light signals, changes in electrical signals were measured (conductance current). For photo-detection, the current response between 'ON' 'OFF ' states was when exposed different wavelengths ranging...

Pulsed laser deposition technique was used for growing thin films of ZnO on Si (100) substrate held at different temperatures (Ts). All the as-deposited have shown a preferential c-axis orientation associated with varying grain size as function Ts ranging from 100to600°C. Current-voltage (I-V) characteristics these show Ohmic behavior over entire range studied. These were subjected to annealing 800°C in air ambient 4h. The observed increase after process all deposited Ts. Interestingly,...

A Pd-contacted dopant-free CNTFET with small-diameter (0.57 nm) carbon nanotube showing an anomalous n-type electrical characteristic is reported for the first time. This observed behaviour attributed to a work function higher than (or close to) palladium as well large hole-to-electron effective mass ratio of approximately 2.5 predicted by hybridization in nanotubes. variation conduction type temperature also and increase decrease CNT increasing temperature.
