High quality compact Ni nanowire (NW) arrays with aspect ratios (wire length/diameter) varying between 70–171 for a wire length of ∼6 μm, and 3–400 constant diameter 60 nm were successfully grown by direct current electrodeposition into free standing porous alumina templates having lattice constant, i.e., interpore distance, 105 nm. The NWs have been investigated using combination scanning- transmission-electron microscopies, selected-area electron diffraction, x-ray diffraction analysis,...

Undoped and Ni-Co co-doped ZnO thin films were successfully prepared by using spray pyrolysis technique. XRD analysis reveals that the secondary phases are not to be formed confirms Ni2+ Co2+ ions penetrated into lattice. Raman spectra of undoped show have Raman-active modes crystalline wurtzite structure defect vibration depending on co-doping. Furthermore, an additional peak (around ∼560 cm−1) appears with co-doping in analysis, indicating existence oxygen vacancy defects....

Magnetic properties of ultrathin Py/Cr/Py trilayers have been investigated as a function Cr spacer layer thickness by using ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) techniques. The was increased from 4 to 40 Å with 1 steps determine the dependence interlayer exchange coupling between layers on thickness. Two strong well resolved peaks were observed which correspond (acoustic) weak (optic) modes magnetization precession in effective dc field due exciting external...

Abstract We report on the synthesis of Mn3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) using a novel sonochemical method without requiring any pH adjustment. Synthesized material was identified as tetragonal hausmannite crystal structure model from XRD analysis. Crystallite size estimated x-ray line profile fitting to be 17±5 nm. FTIR analysis revealed stretching vibrations metal ions in tetrahedral and octahedral coordination confirming structure. TEM dominantly cubic morphology NPs with an average ∼20 Magnetic...
