Abstract A mild and catalytic method to form difluoromethylated arenes through the activation of benzylic CH bonds has been developed. Utilizing AgNO 3 as catalyst, various with diverse functional groups undergo activation/fluorination commercially available Selectfluor reagent a source fluorine in aqueous solution. The reaction is operationally simple amenable gram‐scale synthesis.

Methylglyoxal (MGO), the reactive dicarbonyl intermediate generated during nonenzymatic glycation between reducing sugars and amino groups of proteins, lipids, DNA, is precursor advanced end products (AGEs). Many studies have shown that AGEs play a major pathogenic role in diabetes its complications. This study found 2,3,5,4′-tetrahydroxystilbene 2-O-β-d-glucoside (THSG), bioactive compound from Polygonum multiflorum Thunb., can efficiently inhibit formation dose-dependent manner by trapping...

Abstract Growing evidence has revealed that hypoxia is involved in multiple stages of cancer development. However, there are limited reports on the effects long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progression under hypoxia. The main purposes this study were to analyze effect novel lncRNA DACT3-AS1 metastasis HCC and elucidate related molecular mechanism. Bioinformatics tools employed. RT–qPCR or western blot assays conducted detect RNA protein expression. Clinical samples...

Abstract Background We aimed to determine whether and how the combination of acetazolamide remote ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) reduced incidence severity acute mountain sickness (AMS). Methods This is a prospective, randomized, open-label, blinded endpoint (PROBE) study involving 250 healthy volunteers. Participants were randomized (1:1:1:1:1) following five groups: Ripc (RIPC twice daily, 6 days), Rapid-Ripc four times 3 Acetazolamide (twice 2 Combined (Acetazolamide plus Rapid-Ripc),...

Abstract A simple fluorescent probe, ( E )‐ N ‐(3‐methoxy‐4‐methylphenyl)‐1‐(quinolin‐2‐yl)methanimine L ), was synthesized via Schiff base condensation reaction between quinoline‐2‐carboxaldehyde and 3‐methoxy‐4‐methylaniline. can be used as a ′turn‐on′ probe for the selective sensitive detection of Zn 2+ ions in CH 3 OH/HEPES medium. The limit 1.04×10 −7 M. Job plot analysis shows that binding stoichiometry is 1 : 1, further verified by single crystal structure. fluorescence‐enhanced...
