Large-size DKDP crystals are grown by conventional-growth (CG) and rapid-growth (RG) methods their deuterium homogeneities measured in situ Raman spectroscopy. The influence of homogeneity on third harmonic generation (THG) is also researched. results indicate that the CG crystal good content (0.005% cm−1 deviation along e-axis) its can be neglected, while RG shows a more complicated distribution content. Its decreases gradually, about 0.2% per cm with growing, which will lead to 5%...

Aspherical surfaces can provide significant benefits to a wide variety of optical systems, but manufacturing high-precision aspherical has historically been limited by the ability measure them. Null testing always ideal method in measurement. However, many cases, it is hard realize null for complex surfaces, especially convex complicated forms. In this paper, we propose hybrid compensation combining spherical mirror and computer generated hologram (CGH) achieve surface. Firstly, introduce...

Rapid grown KDP and DKDP crystals have obvious phase jump at the pyramid–prism (PY-PR) interfaces, which will give rise to intensity modulation propagation beam. In this paper, basic properties of PY-PR interfaces in rapid are firsly characterized compared. Then, influence interface’s on third harmonic beam is researched by third-harmonic-generation (THG) experiment. It found that there exist two crystal (SHG1 SHG2) shaping a “bamboo hat” three (THG1, THG2 THG3) “basin”. The phase-jump...
