Abstract The dicalcium phosphate anhydrous (DCPA, CaHPO 4 ) bioceramic has long been difficult to prepare by conventional sintering techniques due its weak thermal stability. Here, the DCPA ceramic is prepared at 250°C cold process (CSP) using dihydrate (DCPD, ·2H 2 O) as starting powder.
