Exploring metallic microfibers with an excellent combination of high strength and ductility is a challenge for structural applications under extreme conditions. In this work, heterogeneous gradient structure was introduced into CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy (HEA) via thermomechanical processing. The annealed microfiber displays ultrahigh yield ∼ 1 GPa, ultimate tensile 1.45 outstanding uniform elongation 75% at 150 K. These properties originate from the ultrafine grains structure, as well...

Abstract In the carbon fiber-reinforced plastic milling process, high abrasive property of fiber will lead to rapid growth tool wear, resulting in poor surface quality parts. However, due signal data distribution discrepancy under different working conditions, addressing problem local degradation and low prediction accuracy wear monitoring model is a significant challenge. This paper proposes an entropy criterion deep conditional domain adaptation network, which effectively exploits...

According to the fact that nonlinear magnetic control welding signal is not smooth, this paper proposes a extraction and an analytical method of system based on Hilbert-Huang transform arc seam tracking sensor. First, track motivated by cycle decomposed into several intrinsic mode functions from high frequency low component using empirical decomposition. On basis Hilbert marginal spectrum each component, distribution time-frequency can effectively restrain cross terms extract real-time...

Improving the printability and high-temperature mechanical performance of high aluminum titanium content Inconel superalloys is interest in aerospace, automotive, energy industries. Therefore, this study explores influence TiB2 on additive manufacturing 939 superalloy (In939) by laser powder bed fusion (LPBF). powders with a size approximately 1-3 µm were decorated surfaces alloy via high-speed blending. Both pure In939 In939+TiB2 samples prepared LPBF varying power scanning speed....

A conventional radio frequency (RF) modulator with phase locked loop (PLL) has disadvantages in modulated specification and complicated systems. With the fast development of direct digital synthesis (DDS), DDS can be incorporated into RF modulator, which results flexible changing parameters adding filters. However, also causes some problems such as low output worse spurs. This paper discusses modulation combining PLL analyzes its character spectrum for ideal conditions. As a result, band...

The growing interest in Laser Additive Manufacturing (LAM) High-entropy alloys (HEAs) during most recent years, the design of elements and scanning strategies are primary methods to overcome defects such as porosity, pores, segregation etc. Here we propose a new approach, novel real-time Shocking Melt Pool (LSMP), obtain melt pool modifications yield better HEAs. LSMP moves pulsed laser into liquid caused by continuous wave laser, enabling non-destructive fabrication high-performance...

Brittle intermetallic compound formation is typically difficult to avoid during fusion joining of dissimilar metals. In this paper, a new approach called buckled brazing wire laser additive manufacturing proposed join aluminum and titanium alloys. Ti6Al4V alloy single track was successfully additively fabricated on AA7075 plate, through two liquid pools the substrate, separated by unmelted part wire, leading mechanically interlocked interface. The effects parameters including power,...
