This research is focused on determining the dose rate calibration of beta irradiation source in Risø brand TL/OSL-DA-20 model thermoluminescence (TL) and optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) reader device manufactured by DTU Physics which an integral component Technical University Denmark (DTU). The radiation this comprises a pellet-shaped Strontium ceramic made from 90Sr/90Y radionuclide, with half-life approximately 29.1 years. investigation provides thorough examination reproducing...
In this study, undoped and YAl 3 (BO ) 4 phosphors doped with Eu 3+ at varying concentrations (x=0.5 to 7 wt%) produced by a combustion process have been thoroughly examined using the X-ray diffraction (XRD) thermoluminescence (TL) techniques. The crystallized were confirmed XRD analysis, its crystal structure was examined. analyses of synthesized phosphor is in accordance ICSD File No 96-152-6006. TL glow curve sample three peaks located 80 °C, 240 360 °C heating rate 2°Cs -1 whilst one...
AbstractWith the aid of thermoluminescence (TL), we have thoroughly examined YAl3(BO3)4 phosphors incorporated with Tb3+ at varying concentrations, which been produced by combustion. The measured TL glow curves exposed to beta rays different doses consisted four broad peaks located around 76, 126, 230, and 378 °C. peak maximum 230 °C shifts toward higher temperatures after 5 Gy irradiation while other maxima almost remain constant. It is peculiar that a temperature increasing radiation dose...
