We propose a practical SVD-based scheduling technique for MIMO broadcast channel. Multiuser diversity is exploited by transmissions simultaneously to group of users who have the best instantaneous channel quality. In order avoid inter-user interference, we use transmit preprocessing which decomposes multiuser downlink into multiple parallel independent single-user channels. Simulation results show that proposed suboptimal algorithm achieve almost same bit error rate performance as optimal algorithm.
