Targeted next-generation sequencing based on PCR amplification involves pooling of hundreds to thousands primers, for preamplification and subsequent parallel single/multiplex PCR. It is often necessary allocate the set primers into subpools, a common issue being potential cross-hybridization. For smaller numbers pool division can be done manually using trial error minimize hybridization, but this becomes inefficient time consuming with increasing primer pairs. We developed PrimerPooler that...

A method and tool is presented that extends a word-processor so as to assist with organising personal notes other information. It usable by people who are blind or have low vision, well others, on small display. The basic principle allow the user annotate parts of text labels then group together any same label. was prototyped using 4DML transformation system, experimentally evaluated, refinements reported on.
