Dynamic polymer hydrogels with an environmental adaptive self-healing ability and dual responsive sol-gel transitions were prepared by combining acylhydrazone disulfide bonds together in the same system. The hydrogel can automatically repair damage to it under both acidic (pH 3 6) basic 9) conditions through exchange or reactions. However, is not self-healable at pH 7 because are kinetically locked, whereas gains accelerating help of catalytic aniline. All processes demonstrated be effective...

We critically evaluate and compare all major published methods for the experimental determination of plateau modulus monodisperse as well polydisperse polymers with linear architecture. For long-chain model systems (Mw/Mn<1.1 number entanglements>20–30), various show excellent agreement, within an error margin 5–10% close to uncertainty. low numbers entanglements, terminal peak integration method requires a careful extrapolation at high frequency side. This is best achieved by simple...

Abstract Elastic graphene aerogels are lightweight and offer excellent electrical performance, expanding their significance in many applications. Recently, elastic have been fabricated via various methods. However, for most reported aerogels, the fabrication processes complicated applications usually limited by brittle mechanical properties. Thus, it still remains a challenge to explore facile of with low density high compressibility. Herein, arbitrary‐shaped, superelastic, durable using...

A new poly(benzyl ether) dendritic organogelator Azo-G3 containing azobenzene in its inner layer was designed and synthesized, fully characterized. The dendron found to be a highly efficient versatile toward various apolar polar organic solvents with the critical gelation concentrations (CGCs) approaching 0.05 wt %, indicating that belongs category of supergelators. Further studies revealed intermolecular multiple π–π stacking interactions might responsible for guiding self-assembly...

Injectable hydrogels with pH and temperature triggered drug release capability were synthesized based on biocompatible glycol chitosan benzaldehyde-capped poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) (PEO-PPO-PEO). Aqueous solutions of the above polymers formed hydrogel under physiological conditions, allowing a desirable injectability, through formation covalent benzoic-imine bond changes. Rheological characterization demonstrated that gelation rate moduli...
