The diagnostic value of endothelial-associated biomarkers in IgAN and their ability to differentiate it from other kidney diseases have not yet been clarified. This study aimed investigate the patients. is a cross-sectional involving 96 participants, with IgAN, LN, MN, healthy subjects recruited 1:1:1:1 ratio. Seventy-five percent sample was used for developing classification model, remaining 25% constructing validation cohort. Plasma levels 12 were detected using multiplex immunoassay...

Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an autoimmune disease which arises due to self-destruction of circulating platelets. Failure respond or maintain a response first-line treatment can lead refractory/relapsed (R/R) ITP. The mechanism remains complicated and lacks standard clinical treatment. Sirolimus (SRL) mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor that has been demonstrated inhibit lymphocyte activity, indicating potential for SRL in Activation the mTOR pathway diseases suggests might be...

Abstract Background Countries that aimed for eliminating the cases of COVID-19 with test-trace-isolate policy are found to have lower infections, deaths, and better economic performance, compared those opted other mitigation strategies. However, continuous evolution new strains has raised question whether eradication is still possible given limited public health response capacity fatigue epidemic. We aim investigate mechanism Zero-COVID on outbreak containment, explore possibility Omicron...

To study the effect of immune response in viral infections, a new mathematical model is proposed and analyzed. It describes interactions between susceptible host cells, infected free virus, lytic nonlytic response. Using LaSalle's invariance principle, we establish conditions for global stability equilibria. Uniform persistence obtained when there unique endemic equilibrium. Mathematical analysis numerical simulations indicate that basic reproduction number virus reproductive are sharp...

In this paper, considering the proven role of exosomes and inevitable randomization within-host, we establish a hepatitis B virus (HBV) model with cell-to-cell transmission CTL immune response from deterministic framework to stochastic differential equation (SDE). By introducing reproduction number $ R_0 $, prove that can be used govern dynamics SDE HBV model. Under certain assumptions, if R_{0}\leq1 solution always fluctuates around infection-free equilibrium model, which indicates will...

The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Wuhan, which is caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2), still severe. In order to optimize epidemic response strategy, it urgent evaluate implemented prevention and control interventions (PCIs). Based on reported data Chongqing Guizhou Provinces, phased dynamic models COVID-19 were constructed, average intensity existing PCIs (from January 25 March 2) was estimated these two provinces. results indicate that both...

.In view of the molecular biological mechanism cytotoxic T lymphocytes proliferation induced by hepatitis B virus infection in vivo, a novel dynamical model with interval delay is proposed. The determined two parameters, namely center and radius. We derive basic reproduction number \(\mathcal{R}_0\) for viral obtain that virus-free equilibrium (VFE) globally asymptotically stable if \(\mathcal{R}_0\lt 1\). When \(\mathcal{R}_0\gt 1\), besides VFE, unique virus-present (VPE) exists conditions...

A viral infection model with a nonlinear rate is constructed based on empirical evidences. Qualitative analysis shows that there degenerate singular equilibrium. Furthermore, bifurcation of cusp-type codimension two (i.e., Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation) confirmed under appropriate conditions. As result, the rich dynamical behaviors indicate can display an Allee effect and fluctuation effect, which are important for making strategies controlling invasion virus.
