The effects of 2 mass% Mg and 0.8 RE additions on the microstructural evolution a Zr modified zinc alloy ZA27 during isothermal holding at semi-solid temperature 460 ˚C have been studied by optical microscope scanning electron microscope. Results show that these two elements all decrease coarsening rate solid primary particles, improve uniformity particle size. addition greatly decreases fraction, then increases distance between particles. However, element mainly concentrates liquid regions...

A feasible synthesis of 10,11-di(3,7-dimethyloctyloxy)dithieno[2,3-d:2′,3′-d′]naphtho[1,2-b:3,4-b′]dithiophene (NDT) was presented, and a novel low band gap (LBG) NDT-based polymer prepared characterized. The preliminary results indicate that NDT can be used as electron-rich building block in the development LBG conjugated polymers.

The constant current accelerated corrosion test was used to study the durability of magnesium oxychloride-coated reinforced concrete (MOCRC) in order solve problem MOCRC's durability. relative dynamic elastic modulus utilized as failure threshold evaluate durability, and collected life data under different cover thickness were acquired. On basis Gumbel distribution, probability analysis can be foretell data. results show that when is evaluated by mass elasticity, MOCRC with a larger...

In order to ensure the reliability of high heat-flux electronic devices, vapor chambers with double-sided uniform radial micro-grooved wicks (DURM) are developed. The driving force model working liquid inside DURM chamber is established. To enhance liquid, condensation micro-grooves and evaporation fabricated using an ultraviolet laser infrared laser, respectively. addition, startup characteristics temperature uniformity effect depth–width ratio radiation angle filling on its thermal...

Abstract Zinc‐rich coating as a sacrificial anode provides cathodic protection for steel bars, so it can provide only the bars certain period of time, and fundamentally cannot solve problem bar corrosion in magnesium oxychloride cement concrete (MOCC). However, organic protects by its own shielding. Therefore, coated reinforced MOCC (ORMOCC) is more adaptable western saline soil salt lake areas. ORMOCC's durability degradation process includes four aspects, but model under those factors has...

In situ Al3Ti-Al functionally graded composite rings were fabricated by centrifugal casting. The effects of processing parameters on the microstructures and hardness mainly investigated. Simultaneously, corrosion characteristics composites discussed. results indicated that not only Al3Ti platelet concentration distributed with a gradient along radial direction rings, but also their size appeared in distribution. presence platelets decreased resistance Al manner.

Abstract In order to get the characteristics of crack formation on a concrete surface, coupled method industrial cameras and gray‐level co‐occurrence matrices (GLCM) is used analyze magnesium oxychloride cement surface cracks. This requires fewer samples than previous edge detection method, typing analysis, artificial neural network can provide more damage parameter information without being limited geometric local features. According GLCM analysis under effect rust expansion force, it...
