Abstract This letter extends the Gunduz and Hatemi‐J study on tourism‐led growth hypothesis with Malaysian data. The rolling subsample causality test was employed to demonstrate validity stability of tourism–growth relationship. Our result shows relationship is valid stable over sample period.
