Parvoviruses are known to be significant viral pathogens that infect a wide range of species globally. However, little is about the parvoviruses circulating in Australian birds, including yellow canaries. Here, we present four parvoviral sequences three novel detected from 10 canaries (Crithagra flaviventris), named canary chaphamaparvovirus 1 and -2 (CaChPV1 CaChPV2), dependoparvovirus (CaDePV1 CaDePV2). The whole genome CaChPV1, CaChPV2, CaDePV1, CaDePV2 showed highest identity with other...
<title>Abstract</title> The goat industry plays a crucial role in Malaysia's economy, with breeds such as Katjang and Boer being the integral to mutton supply. However, achieving self-sufficiency meat production is still challenging due insufficient local carcass To address this issue, crossbreeding program has been initiated improve reproductive performance breeds. In mammals, there are BMP15 GDF9 genes which components of TGF-β superfamily that key regulators ovulation litter size. This...
Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is an enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA belonging to the genus Gammacoronavirus. It primarily infects avian species, causing respiratory and renal disease irreversible damage oviduct, which can lead high mortality rates in chickens. The lack of rapid reliable diagnostic tools for on-farm IBV detection hampers timely management control measures. introduction DNA biosensors offers a promising approach sensitive specific IBV, facilitating...
Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is an avian coronavirus (CoV) that belongs to the genus Gammacoronavirus and has been listed as important disease by World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH). It causes highly contagious respiratory, reproductive, renal diseases in commercial poultry farms. Multiple IBV serotypes genotypes have identified many countries detected variants do not provide cross-protection against infection, resulting repeated outbreaks significant economic losses worldwide....
Abstract Background Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is classified as a highly contagious viral agent that causes acute respiratory, reproductive and renal system pathology in affected poultry farms. Molecular serological investigations are crucial for the accurate diagnosis management of IBV. Objectives The purpose this study was to determine seroprevalence IBV characterise circulating farms Sabah Province, Malaysia. Methods To antibodies, total 138 blood samples 50 organ were collected...
The experiment was conducted at Bismillah poultry farm in Peipur Village, Zakigong Upazila, Sylhet district, using 90-day-old chicks of the "Lohman strain" commercial broilers. objective to investigate impact Aloe vera supplementation on various aspects broiler performance, including growth, feed conversion ratio, carcass yield, and physicochemical properties meat. Ninety were allocated randomly assigned four treatment groups a control group, with each group replicated three times consisting...
ABSTRACT This study reveals the genomes of psittaciform chaphamaparvovirus 5 (PsChPV-5) and a beak feather disease virus (BFDV), discovered in fecal samples cockatiels. The PsChPV-5 BFDV are 4,366 2,009 base pairs long, respectively, each exhibiting characteristic genomic structures their respective genera.
The study was conducted to reveal the management system, prospects and constraints of indigenous horses at 20 villages 4 districts in Bangladesh.A total 200 horse keeping households were one-to-one interviewed using a pre-tested questionnaire.Horses are solely reared under semi-intensive system (100%).Different types houses used such as tin-shed (28%), polythene (36%), fencing (36%).Feed ingredients rice polish (7.14±0.19),rice crushed (0.13±0.07), paddy (0.04±0.01), salt (0.1±0.01), wheat...
Abstract Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) belongs to the Gamma coronavirus family of avian species, which is characterized by respiratory infections, nephropathy, and permanent damage oviduct, resulting in high mortality both layer broiler chickens. IBV has caused significant financial losses a lack on-farm diagnostic tools, posing challenge for disease prevention control. The development DNA biosensors increased importance rapid accurate detection viral poultry. In this study, an...
Aims:The aim of the study is to develop optimised parameters electrochemical DNA biosensors for specific detection Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV) in chickens. The ultimate goal further create a highly sensitive and biosensor that can be used on-site monitoring IBV on poultry farms.Methodology results: In this study, an was developed detecting sequence genome. The process involved attaching NH2-ssDNA probe gold electrode, followed by hybridization with target DNA.Various like buffer, pH,...
