Lithium-metal anodes are promising electrodes for fabricating high-capacity all-solid-state batteries; however, lithium dendrite growth during charging limits their applicability. One method to suppress is insert a carbon interlayer between the solid electrolyte and lithium-metal anode. There many potential approaches inserting interlayer. The optimal conditions suppressing ensuring uniform deposition have not yet been established. This study employs X-ray computed tomography investigate...

Three-dimensional measuring method of the material distribution an all-solid-state lithium-ion battery (ASSLiB) cathode, by synchrotron radiation high-resolution X-ray computational tomography (nanotomography, nano-CT) and deep learning is proposed in this study. The cathode ASSLiB comprised materials with high absorption coefficients, such as LiCoO2 LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2. Such coefficients imparted difficulties obtaining a high-resolution, high-contrast image identifying conventional CT value...

High-performance all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries require observation, control, and optimization of the electrode structure. X-ray computational tomography (CT) is an effective nondestructive method for observing structure in three dimensions. However, limited availability synchrotron radiation CT, which offers high-resolution imaging with a high signal-to-noise ratio, makes it difficult to conduct experiments restricts use CT battery development. Conversely, laboratory systems are...

Several studies have suggested that the endocannabinoid system plays significant roles in vulnerability to psychiatric disorders including drug abuse. To examine possible association of CNR1 and CNR2 genes, which encode cannabinoid receptors CB1 CB2, with methamphetamine dependence, we investigated three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) (rs806379, rs1535255, rs2023239) intron 2 gene a nonsynonymous SNP, Q63R, gene. The study samples consisted 223 patients dependence 292 age- sex-...

High-pressure in situ X-ray computational tomography measurements of sulfide solid electrolyte were conducted to elucidate the behavior a single particle. Chlorine Li6PS5Cl was replaced by iodine obtain high-contrast measurements, and particle under high pressure successfully visualized. The experimental results statistically analyzed extract generalized show that pressurization increased contact area sphericity suppressed voids between within particles, thereby enhancing ionic conductivity.
