Abstract Studies were carried out from April 2016 to March 2017 for effective understanding of diversity combined with environment-influenced spatiotemporal dynamics microfloral structure in Kailash Khal wetland Indian Sundarbans. A total 36 phytoplankton genera recorded the study area. Eight major algal groups order of: Bacillariophyceae > Cyanophyceae Chlorophyceae Coscinodiscophyceae Xanthophyceae Euglenophyceae Conjugatophyceae Mediophyceae respect their quantitative abundance. Mean...

Ten indigenous freshwater fish species belonging to nine genera and seven families were collected from Gandak River, Bihar, India during December, 2014 September, 2016. Fishes caught using Cast nets, Gill Drag nets with mesh size of 15–20 mm, 25–30 mm 5–10 respectively along Traps. Sampling was done dry wet seasons a total 682 for analysis their Length–Weight Relationships (LWRs). Analyses included which no previous LWRs information available in FishBase, new maximum lengths recorded three species.

Impact of barge movement on phytoplankton abundance and biomass was assessed in the lower stretch river Ganga, popularly known as Bhagirathi-Hooghly river, during April 2016 to March, 2017. Based magnitude tide, intensity shipping boating activities, from Baranagar Lalbag (278 km), located at latitude (22°38'33.41"N 24°10'59.75"N) longitude (88°21'21.29"E 88°16'5.65"E) divided into three zones viz. zone—I (Baranagar Barrackpore), zone II (Triveni Balagarh) III (Nabadweep Lalbag). Length-weight relationships (LWRs) for five indigenous fish species under genera and two families, namely Cyprinion semiplotum (McClelland, 1839), Barilius barna (Hamilton, 1822), barila Gagata sexualis Tilak, 1970 Pseudolaguvia shawi (Hora, 1921) were studied from Torsa River in West Bengal, India. Sampling was done at quarterly intervals November, 2015 to December, 2016 a total of 701 specimens collected using cast nets (mesh size 15–20 mm), gill 20–35 mm) bamboo traps. In the present...

Abstract Sagar Island in Indian Sundarbans is bestowed with numerous tidal creeks providing a suitable home to its inherent aquatic biota. The present study investigated the variation surface water quality selected of Island, understand status for wildlife propagation and fisheries. Ten parameters were taken into consideration analysis on monthly basis from four stations (tidal creeks) September 2015 August 2016. One-way ANOVA showed five (water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen,...
