Sustainable construction and demolition waste (CDW) management have been widely discussed. For a city seeking urban renewal or transformation, aging houses are remodeled, which creates large amount of CDW. Taiwan is located in an earthquake-prone area with many houses. CDW extremely urgent for such cities countries. This study presented the current state suggested possible strategies. Material flow analysis was conducted to understand use distribution materials. shows that 100% raw material...

Heterostructure is a unique structure formed during the contact of two different semiconductor phases at interface. This provides material with an excellent photoelectric and photocatalysis performance, it used in solar cells catalyst degradation organic pollutants. Considering these features, heterostructures have attracted wide attention field materials environmental science. In this study, CeO2/TiO2 heterostructure was prepared by hydrothermal method, morphology samples were characterized...

Reverse non-equilibrium (RNE) method is applied to investigate the rheological properties of surfactant solutions by using dissipative particle dynamics algorithm. Results show that exhibit a shear-thinning behaviour. With strengthening shear, worm-like micelles are gradually oriented in x direction and then broken up into small spherical micelles. The process also shown decrease viscosity, which starts quickly, levels off for moderate shear rates speeds again over critical value. We find...

Dissipative particle dynamics is used to study the self-assembly and surface tension of a surfactant cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) in ethanol/water mixture. With simple spring bead model, we investigate how ethanol influences aggregation structure ability reduce CTAB. It not total concentration, but bulk that should be employed describe surfactant's properties accurately. The results show may produce inhibition for micellar growth enlarge critical micelle concentration We further...

The stability issue of Sn-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is expected to be resolved by involving a two-dimensional (2D) layered structure. However, 2D PSCs, especially Dion–Jacobson (DJ)-phase ones with potentially good stability, have rarely been reported. Herein, superior DJ-phase Sn perovskites 3-aminobenzylamine (3ABA2+) or 4-aminobenzylamine (4ABA2+) π-conjugated short-chain ligands are reported fabricate efficient lead-free PSCs. Notably, the high dipole moment 3ABAI2 organic...

Abstract In this paper, we construct three kinds of hydrate replacement models: N 2 , CO and ‐CO . The molecular dynamics (MD) method is used to study the dynamic process for natural gas hydrate. efficiency /CO simulated, influence on stability water cage assessed. results show that CH 4 molecules in driving are all enriched gas‐liquid interface or region. Compared with methane when mixed replace hydrate, diffusion rate increased by times, significantly improved. radial distribution function...

A self-anchored suspension bridge with a large span arrangement (210+600+200) m is designed for urban railway in the city Chongjin of China. The deck system also has some special features. rubber layer between concrete slabs and orthotropic steel used to absorb vibration energy. In order study fatigue behaviour deck, finite element model established, weld rib-to-diaphragm region modelled by oblique shell element. After reference stress was defined, influence lines details were calculated,...

In recent years, a number of large-span bridges with orthotropic steel decks were constructed in China. With increasing traffic volumes and higher wheel loads, many fatigue cracks developed at the welds edge cut-out holes. This paper aims presenting numerical analysis on performance deck using ultrahigh concrete (UHPC) overlay as pavement instead conventional asphalt pavement. By finite element method (FEM) model, stress distribution sensitive locations under action loads is characterized...
