A copper-catalyzed alkylarylation of alkenes with simple alkanes was achieved, which not only provided an efficient method to prepare various alkyl-substituted oxindoles, but also represented a novel strategy for selective sp(3) C-H functionalization/C-C bond formation via free-radical cascade process. Additionally, activation unactivated (sp(3))C-H and (sp(2))C-H bonds by one single step is achieved in this system, would provide raising efficiency functionalization.
This feature article introduces new structural motifs (referred as “samogen”) that serve the building blocks of hydrogelators for molecular self-assembly in water to result a series supramolecular hydrogels. Using compound consists two phenylalanine residues and naphthyl group (also abbreviated NapFF (1) this text) an example samogens, we demonstrated ability samogens convert bioactive molecules into self-assemble nanofibers. By briefly summarizing properties applications (e.g., wound...
The integration of a tripeptide derivative, which is versatile self-assembly motif, with ruthenium(II)tris(bipyridine) complex affords the first supramolecular metallo-hydrogelator that not only self assembles in water to form hydrogel but also exhibits gel–sol transition upon oxidation metal center. Surprisingly, incorporation hydrogelator results nanofibers, formed by water, have width single molecule hydrogelator. These illustrate complexes, besides being able impart rich optical,...
Hybrid hydrogels were fabricated via a new approach employing dual enzyme-mediated redox initiation reaction and their applications for 3D printing biocatalysis.
Background and AimsTRIM21 is a ubiquitin E3 ligase that implicated in numerous biological processes including immune response, cell metabolism, redox homeostasis, cancer development. We recently reported TRIM21 can negatively regulate the p62-Keap1-Nrf2 antioxidant pathway by ubiquitylating p62 prevents its oligomerization protein sequestration function. As homeostasis plays pivotal role many cancers liver cancer, we sought to determine of hepatocarcinogenesis.MethodsWe examined correlation...
Aberrant regulation in oxidative stress, fibrogenesis, and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) renal cells under hyperglycemic conditions contributes significantly to onset progression of diabetic nephropathy. The mechanisms underlying these hyperglycemia-induced dysregulations, however, have not been clearly elucidated. Herein, we report that aldose reductase is capable regulating expression miR-200a-3p/141-3p negatively mesangial cells. MiR-200a-3p/141-3p, turn, act target Keap1,...
Genistein exerts its anticarcinogenic effects by inducing G 2/ M arrest and apoptosis of cancer cells. However, the precise molecular mechanism action genistein has not been completely elucidated. In this study, we used quantitative proteomics to identify genistein‐induced protein alterations in gastric cells investigate responsible for anti‐cancer actions genistein. Total 86 proteins were identified be regulated genistein, most which clustered into regulation cell division transition,...
Abstract Post‐stroke angiogenesis facilitates neurovascular remodeling process and promotes neurological recovery. Proangiogenic effects of Salvianolic acids (Sals) have been reported in various ischemic disorders. However, the underlying mechanisms are still poorly understood. Previous studies our laboratory demonstrated that activating Janus kinase 2/signal transducer activator transcription 3 ( JAK 2/ STAT 3) signaling pathway is involved protection against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion...
Abstract Celiac disease is triggered by partially digested gluten proteins. Enzyme therapies that complete protein digestion in vivo could support a gluten-free diet, but the barrier to completeness high. Current options require enzyme amounts on same order as meal itself. In this study, we evaluated proteolytic components of carnivorous pitcher plant ( Nepenthes spp.) for use context. Remarkably low doses enhance gliadin solubilization rates and degrade slurries within pH temporal...
Numerous electrophilic thiocyano oxyfunctionalization reactions of alkenes have been achieved using N-thiocyano-dibenzenesulfonimide, which is a new thiocyanation reagent and could be easily prepared in two steps from dibenzenesulfonimide. This approach provides efficient, simple, modular methods for the formation SCN-containing heterocycles such as lactones, tetrahydrofurans, dihydrofurans, dihydrobenzofurans moderate to excellent yields. Meanwhile, diverse oxa-quaternary centers were...
Abstract Live cell imaging of lysosome positioning and motility is critical to studying status function for pharmacological interventions. To create a super stable lysosomal probe long‐term live imaging, we have designed synthesized an aromatic‐peptide‐conjugated cyclometalated iridium(III) complex that emits light via π–π stacking oriented self‐assembly in water at extremely low concentration. Through endocytic trafficking, self‐assemblies are transformed from nanoparticles into sturdily...
Aromatic amide-derived phosphanes (Aphos) are hemilabile P,O-coordinating ligands, which, when combined with a Pd precursor, yield promising precatalyst system for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. A focused library of Aphos ligands has been constructed structural optimization, the target improving catalytic efficacy. By using microwave irradiation at accurately regulated temperature, an expeditious and reproducible one-pot synthesis screening protocol was designed experimentally...

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) typically relies on tumor transformation and angiogenesis for its malignant behavior, including growth metastasis. Previously, we reported that Vasohibin2 (VASH2) is preferentially expressed in hepatocellular tissues promotes angiogenesis. Here, further investigated the role of VASH2 HCC progression.Bioinformatics analyses luciferase reporter gene assays confirmed post-transcriptional regulation by miR-200a/b/c. We then used HepG2 Hep3B cells, two...
