Over the last 10 years, influence of dog–owner relationship on dog behaviour has received growing attention, unlike working handler's relationship. Using a questionnaire addressed to 430 handlers Belgian army in 2001 (303 respondents), this study investigated association between time spent by with their military (MD) and some behaviours these dogs, reflecting welfare, obedience, aggressiveness. Less than half took MD home and/or practised sport MD. Most practising also animal home....

Graphene growth from a propane flow in hydrogen environment (propane-hydrogen chemical vapor deposition (CVD)) on SiC differentiates other methods that it offers the possibility to obtain various graphene structures Si-face depending conditions. The different include (6√3 × 6√3)-R30° reconstruction of graphene/SiC interface, which is commonly observed Si-face, but also rotational disorder generally C-face. In this work, mechanisms leading formation are studied and discussed. For purpose, we...

We have developed a method to grow and characterize the state of art non-polar ZnO/(Zn,Mg)O multi-quantum wells on m-plane ZnO substrates as prerequisite for applications based intersubband transitions. The epilayer interfaces exhibit low roughness, layer thickness remains constant within one monolayer in these heterostructures. optical properties been studied UV IR domains by means photoluminescence absorption experiments, respectively. The growth by molecular beam epitaxy and the optical properties of GaN∕Al0.5Ga0.5N quantum dots on (0001) sapphire substrates are reported. spontaneously formed via a two dimensional to three transition upon interruption. Photoluminescence over blue range (435–470nm) is obtained at room temperature varying GaN nominal thickness. A weak dependence integrated photoluminescence intensity between low observed indicating strong carrier localization in dots.

We show that the shape of GaN nanostructures grown by molecular beam epitaxy on AlxGa1−xN (0001) surfaces, for x≥0.4, can be controlled via ammonia pressure. The are obtained from a two dimensional to three transition layer occurring upon growth interruption. Atomic force microscopy measurements depending pressure during interruption, dot or dash-shaped obtained. Low temperature photoluminescence reveal large redshift in emission energy quantum dashes, as compared dots. By simply adjusting...

Abstract Graphene growth on SiC using propane‐hydrogen CVD has been recently demonstrated.
