AbstractA new benzimidazolium salt containing a 2,5-dimethylbenzyl substituent and six N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) silver complexes were prepared. The characterized by NMR, FTIR, LC-MS spectroscopic methods elemental analyses. They are stable in solution for week. antibacterial properties of the Ag(I) against two Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria investigated. Inhibition zone minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) data establish that these NHC-Ag(I) possess activities; 2b showed highest...

HIGHLIGHTS Terephthalic acid one of the phthalates has been known endocrine disrupting chemical and degraded by bacterial strains. Four isolates identified as Arthrobacter sp., Chryseobacterium sp. Burkholderia Pseudomonas sp are able to degrade 100 mgL-1 concentration terephthalic acid. In order monitory bacteria in CSTR reactor, Real-time PCR was used.
