The optical characteristics of Dy3+-doped phosphate and borophosphate glasses with different divalent network modifiers prepared by melt-quenching are studied. glass sets (A) a molar composition 40MO-60P2O5 (B) 40MO-20B2O3-40 P2O5 investigated, both M = (Zn2+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+, or Ba2+) all doped 0.1 mol% Dy2O3. Raman fluorescence spectroscopy used to analyse the structure these glasses. Four typical Dy3+ emission bands in yellow (572 nm), blue (483 nm) red (633 752 regions spectrum observed...
Our present study focuses on examining the thermal, structural and luminescent characteristics of barium samarium oxide additions metaphosphate glasses. Results indicate current glasses may be a good candidate for displaying colours or visible lasers in red-orange spectral region.
Nanocrystallization of LaF3 in a glass composition 55SiO2–20Al2O3–15Na2O–10LaF3 (mol%) has been achieved by heat treatment above the transition temperature. A maximum crystal size 14 nm attained, with crystalline fraction and dependent on time temperature thermal treatment. The effect lanthanum fluoride crystallization is noticeable from microstructural compositional changes matrix, which have studied using several techniques, including viscosity, dilatometry, X-ray diffraction, quantitative...
ABSTRACT Fluorides are commonly regarded as interfacial additives that enhance the electrochemical stability of solid‐state battery electrolytes. In this study, we synthesized lithium borate glassy solid electrolytes and investigated effect adding aluminum fluoride (AlF 3 ) on its against metal electrodes. Samples maintained their amorphous nature, with up to 9.20 wt.% fluorine in glass. Lithium glasses, without AlF , demonstrated an excellent performance, sustaining a stable voltage profile...
In this paper, acoustic attenuation measurements are used to detect structural changes due chemical processes related dehydration. This paper presents the initial conducted at a frequency of 13 MHz on glass sample with composition 40Li2 O-10BaO-50P2 O5 (mol %) and in dehydrated after thermal treatment 800 ºC for increasing time lengths. The analysis revealed that notable peak within mid-temperature range was decreased 1 3 hours dehydration process, by 6-hour, it no longer present sample.

Nanocrystallisation of the cubic and hexagonal polymorphs KLaF4 in a 70SiO2–7Al2O3–16K2O–7LaF3 (mol%) glass has been achieved by heat treatment above transition temperature. For at 580 °C, only structure crystallises, with maximum crystallite size ~9 nm. At higher temperatures, crystallisation also takes place. The process analysed using several thermal structural techniques is revealed to occur from constant number nuclei. formation viscous barrier which inhibits further crystal growth...
Here in, the fs-laser induced thermophoretic writing of microstructures in ad-hoc compositionally designed silicate glasses and their application as infrared optical waveguides is reported. The glass modification mechanism mimics elemental thermal diffusion occurring basaltic liquids at Earth's mantle, but a much shorter time scale (108 times faster) over well-defined micrometric volume. precise addition BaO, Na2O K2O to enables creation positive refractive index contrast upon irradiation....
Structural role of fluoride on chemical dissolution behavior bioactive phosphate glasses has been studied.
