Summary Duodenal volvulus is an extremely rare condition, with few cases reported in the literature. We present case of 83‐year‐old man spontaneous duodenal diagnosed on CT imaging. Findings included third part duodenum, characteristic whirl pattern superior mesenteric vessels and medialisation gallbladder.
