Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis are two common musculoskeletal disorders that affect the joints. Despite high prevalence rates, etiological factors involved in these remain largely unknown. Dissecting molecular aspects of will significantly contribute to improving their diagnosis clinical management. In order identify proteins differentially expressed between conditions, a quantitative proteomic profiling synovial fluid obtained from rheumatoid patients was carried out by using iTRAQ...

Osteoarthritis is a chronic musculoskeletal disorder characterized mainly by progressive degradation of the hyaline cartilage. Patients with osteoarthritis often postpone seeking medical help, which results in diagnosis being made at an advanced stage cartilage destruction. Sustained efforts are needed to identify specific markers that might help early diagnosis, monitoring disease progression and improving therapeutic outcomes. We employed multipronged proteomic approach, included multiple...

Drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome is a drug reaction commonly occurring in association aromatic anticonvulsants allopurinol. It characterized by triad of fever, skin eruption, involvement. DRESS rare beta-lactam antibiotics even rarer ceftriaxone. We describe case pneumonia who developed ceftriaxone-induced rash, bicytopenia, eosinophilia, transaminitis was eventually diagnosed managed successfully as DRESS.

We studied the profile outcomes infectious cohort RTR.In this prospective, observational study, we evaluated all RTR who presented with features infection. also included asymptomatic patients microbiological evidence excluded acute rejection, drug toxicity, malignancy. Descriptive statistics were used analyze results. The study population (n = 45, 35 male 10...

Abstract Background Developmental abnormalities of aortic valve cusps are relatively common with the bicuspid being most frequently encountered congenital heart disease. However, quadricuspid (QAV) is an exceedingly rare abnormality. Case presentation We report a case involving young, otherwise healthy male who presented non-exertional syncope and was subsequently diagnosed complete block (CHB). Further evaluation revealed coexistence CHB. This combination, in absence surgery or infective...

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a rare but potentially serious complication of coronary angiography (CAG), incidence being just 0.05%. Only few clinical cases DVT after diagnostic transfemoral catheterization have been reported. Here, we describe the case 54-year-old woman who developed significant CAG without venous thromboembolism (VTE) and, which was treated with anticoagulants.

In this report, we present case details interesting aspects calciphylaxis.
