In this research, the levels of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were investigated in marine sediments Asaluyeh harbor, Persian Gulf. The samples taken from industrial, semi-industrial and urban regions. mean concentration total (Σ) 18 detected PCBs 514.32, 144.67 31.6 pg/g dw for sampling stations, respectively. Based on a multivariate statistical analysis, it was found that high contamination collected along Gulf associated with releases local industries. Total organic carbon (TOC) content...
Samples of PM2.5 particulates were collected from indoor air 36 cafés, 14 cafés in which only water pipe (WS) was used, eight cigarette smoked (CC), six both waterpipe and (WCC), no smoking occurred (SFC) Tehran. After that, the concentration lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), nickel(Ni), chromium (Cr) examined by atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) (GF 5000, Australia). The results indicated that ƩMetal (Mean ±SD) WCC, WC, CC, SFC 1118.5±50.42, 663.64±40.79, 425.57±17.55, 79.02±5.13 ng/m3,...
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a group of toxic chemicals formed during incomplete combustion organic materials. In this study, the 16 PAHs were investigated in meat and products. Literature search was performed Scopus, PubMed Web Science databases from 2000 to 2021. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) used. Fifteen (15) studies containing 155 observations selected based on criteria. The sum ranged 0.4 2290.32 µg/kg (wet weight). Low-weight...
