Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) based on the IEEE 802.11 technology have become increasingly popular and ubiquitous. The standard allows each station in a WLAN equal opportunity to access wireless channel, which can result unfair sharing of network bandwidth between upstream downstream TCP flows at an AP. In this paper, we propose two different queue management techniques alleviate unfairness problem, with one Selective Packet Marking (SPM), other Least Attained Service (LAS)...

The presence of abrupt depth transitions might trigger strong nonlinear effects on propagating water waves near coastal regions. In this study, the dynamics monochromatic over a submerged step representing are investigated both experimentally and numerically. Within framework free-surface Euler equations, fully potential flow model based conformal mapping method is established to investigate higher harmonics. numerical has been well validated with experimental measurements. To analyze wave...

Introduction The Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and the severe acute 2 (SARS-CoV-2) are two highly contagious coronaviruses causing MERS COVID-19, respectively, without an effective antiviral drug a long-lasting vaccine. Approaches for diagnosis, therapeutics, prevention, etc., particularly SARS-CoV-2 that is continually spreading evolving, urgently needed. Our previous study discovered >60% of sera from convalescent COVID-19 individuals, but <8%...

On the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau area, permafrost and wetlands are interdependent to form a symbiotic system, called (PWs). Due extremely complex hydrothermal conditions, PWs greatly impact road stability. Thus, it is necessary classify in terms of engineering characteristics evaluate their In this study, typical diseases subgrade wetland areas analyzed based on field investigation. Then, type, waterlogged area ratio, meadow development degree used as main indicators for classifying by...
