Abstract In the present paper, crystallization behavior and glass forming ability (GFA) of Cu 64 Zr 36 bulk metallic (BMG) were studied based on crystal phase competition. Electrical resistivity X‐ray diffraction results indicate that underwent a two‐stage process, during which 10 7 51 14 crystals precipitate at first then there are only 8 3 phases end second stage. Intriguingly, it was found is competing weakens GFA alloy, because fully restrained in cast rod when substituting with 7.5at%Ti...
Abstract The correlation between the quenching temperature and crystallization of Zr 65 Al 7.5 Ni 10 Cu 17.5 metallic glass was examined. electrical resistivity thermal property were measured to monitor structural change samples quenched at 1473 K, 1573 1673 K 1773 respectively. consistent results DSC d(ρ (T) /ρ 0 )/dT‐T curves indicated different behaviors samples. For from increase in ΔT x , T rg γ imply higher forming ability. Moreover, according XRD patterns annealed temperatures, melt...
