Abstract By analyzing data from DESI Legacy Imaging Survey of the dwarf galaxies in Arecibo Fast Alfa Survey, we have identified five ultradiffuse (UDGs) featuring central pseudobulges. These UDGs display blue pseudobulges with Sérsic indices n < 2.5 and effective radii spanning 300–700 pc, along bluer thin stellar disks exhibiting low surface brightness expansive that align UDG definition. The rotation velocities these UDGs, determined using H i line widths optical inclinations, exceed...

Abstract Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are millisecond-duration pulses occurring at cosmological distances with a mysterious origin. Observations show that least some FRBs produced by magnetars. All magnetar-powered FRB models require triggering mechanisms, among which the most popular is cracking of crust neutron star, called starquake. However, so far there has been no decisive evidence for this speculation. Here we report energy functions three active repeating FRBs, universal break around 10...

Abstract We investigate the baryonic Tully-Fisher relation in low surface brightness galaxies selected from Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA survey. find that $\rm HI$-bearing still follow of typical late-type galaxies, with a slope approximately 4 mass versus rotational velocity diagram on logarithmic scale, i.e., $M_{\rm {b}}\propto v_{\rm {rot}}^4$. Our findings suggest matter distributions may resemble general and hint not originate dark halos densities or stronger/weaker feedback processes, but...

Abstract Leveraging the semi-analytic method, we compute halo spins for a substantial sample of HI-bearing galaxies observed in Arecibo Legacy Fast Alfa Survey. Our statistical analysis reveals correlation between spin and environment, although trend is subtle. On average, exhibit decreasing tendency denser environments. This observation contrasts with previous results from $N$-body simulations Lambda cold dark matter framework. The discrepancy may be attributed to environmental gas...

Abstract In long-range air defense multi-missile cooperative interception missions, due to the low accuracy of indication information and lack ground radar support, significant errors exist in estimating true position target. This makes it difficult for regions multiple missiles cooperatively cover target error region. To address this issue, a coverage guidance strategy based on an improved snake optimization (ISO) algorithm is proposed. First, missile model established, with treated as...

Abstract The statistical characteristics of stellar flares at optical bands have received extensive study, but they remain to be studied soft X-ray bands, in particular for solar-type stars. Here, we present a study on stars, which can help understanding the multiwavelength behaviors flares. We mainly use Chandra Source Catalog Release 2.0, includes number flaring stars with denoted variability, and Gaia Data 3, necessary information classifying also develop set methods identifying...

Using a semi-analytic approach, we estimate halo spins for large sample of HI-rich galaxies from the Arecibo Legacy Fast Alfa Survey and examine correlation between HI mass fractions spins. Our analysis reveals strong spin HI-to-stellar ratio in both low-mass massive galaxy samples. This finding suggests universal formation scenario: higher reduces angular momentum loss gas condensation, leading to lower star rates weaker feedback, which turn helps retain within dark matter halos.

Utilizing ALFALFA HI data, we investigate the relationship between specific star formation rate (sSFR) and halo spin across various star-forming galaxies. Our analysis reveals no significant correlation sSFR spin, irrespective of galactic environment. Previous research suggests that high-spin halos tend to harbor extended, low-density stellar distributions due suppressed gas cooling formation. However, unlike galaxy size density, may primarily reflect current state rather than long-term...
