In the present work, structure, magnetic, and dielectric characteristics of Nd2NiMnO6 Sm2NiMnO6 have been investigated with comparison to those for La2NiMnO6. The magnetic properties ceramics vary decreasing lanthanide ionic radius (RLn). Both are ferromagnetism monoclinic symmetry (space group P21/n). Curie temperature TC is 194 K 156 K, respectively, it decreases 〈Ni-O-Mn〉 bond angle which depends on RLn. Meanwhile, constant ε′ monotonically similar variation tendency RLn indicates that...

Abstract RFeO 3 orthoferrites, where R is a rare-earth ion of the lanthanide series, are attracting attention mostly because their promising fast spin dynamics. The magnetic properties these materials seem to crucially depend on whether magnetizations and Fe ions’ weak ferromagnetic (WFM) components parallel or antiparallel each other. Here, we report an extensive investigation high-quality DyFeO single crystal in which induced Dy 3+ magnetization (F ) has natural tendency be sublattice...

Lanthanum-modified mesoporous graphite nitride carbon composites (La-g-C 3 N 4 ) were synthesized using a thermal shrinkage polymerization method. The La 30 -g-C sample exhibited rapid and efficient degradation, along with excellent adsorption capacity for both TC AF.

First-principles calculations are performed on magnetic multidomain structures in the $\mathrm{SmFe}{\mathrm{O}}_{3}$ rare-earth orthoferrite compound. We focus symmetry breaking at (001)-oriented antiphase domain walls, treating magnetism simplest (collinear) approximation without any relativistic (spin-orbit coupling) effects. found that number of $\mathrm{Fe}{\mathrm{O}}_{2}$ layers inside domains determines electrical nature whole system: multidomains with odd paraelectric, while even...

Collective rotations and tilts of oxygen polyhedra play a crucial role in the physical properties complex oxides such as magnetism conductivity. Such can be tuned by preparing thin films which dimensionality, strain, interface effects come into play. However, little is known tilt rotational distortions few unit cells thick including question if coherent patterns survive at all this ultrathin limit. Here, series perovskite LaNiO3 studied it shown that phonon mode related to octahedral...

Abstract SnO 2 /BiOBr photocatalyst with broad‐spectrum response was one step constructed via in situ hydrothermal method; anchored on the surface of BiOBr sheets by acidolysis Na 3 stock solution producing BiOBr. The photocatalytic degradation activity over rhodamine B (RhB) under visible light‐emitting diode irradiation is further improved coupling a 7% amount . reaction rate constant 7%SnO 8.2 times that pristine enhanced performance can be ascribed to excellent adsorption abilities for...

Copper-based materials play a vital role in the electrochemical transformation of CO 2 into C /C 2+ compounds. In this study, cross-sectional octahedral Cu O microcrystals were prepared situ on carbon paper electrodes via deposition. The morphology and integrity exposed crystal surface (111) meticulously controlled by adjusting deposition potential, time, temperature. These exhibited high electrocatalytic activity for ethylene (C H 4 ) production through reduction. 0.1 M KHCO 3 electrolyte,...

Pristine and a series have been successfully using an entirely room‐temperature production process. X‐ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, High‐resolution transmission photoelectron spectroscopy, UV–vis absorption spectroscopy were to investigated bulk structure, surface morphology, element composition optical properties samples. We report on the optimization process to synthesize epitaxial thin films of GdTiO3 SrLaGaO4 substrates by pulsed laser deposition. Optimized are free impurity phases and fully strained. They possess a magnetic Curie temperature TC = 31.8 K with saturation magnetization 4.2 μB per formula unit at 10 K. Transport measurements reveal an insulating response, as expected. Optical spectroscopy indicates band gap ∼0.7 eV, comparable bulk value. Our work adds ferrimagnetic orthotitanates palette...
