In this work, the properties of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/alumina composites prepared by melt blending were evaluated. Two types alumina used: one, that was synthesized (ALS) combustion reaction method, and other is commercially available (ALC). In this work, the effect of vermiculite (VMT) clay loading on rheological properties and flammability bio-based high-density polyethylene/organically modified VMT (BioHDPE/OVMT) biocomposites containing 0.5–10 phr OVMT was investigated.
