Abstract The role of different oxygen functional groups on a carbon catalyst was studied in the reduction nitrobenzene by using series model molecules. carbonyl and hydroxyl played important roles, which may be ascribed to their ability activate hydrazine. In comparison, ester, ether, lactone seemed inactive, whereas carboxylic group had negative effect. reaction occurred most likely through direct route, during nitrosobenzene converted directly into aniline.
Abstract Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are promising candidates for metal‐based catalysts in the selective catalytic oxidation of acrolein. It has been proposed that surface functional groups play an important role this reaction. We employ simple calcination and reduction method to selectively remove oxygen on CNT surface. With assistance different characterization techniques such as temperature‐programmed desorption X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, epoxy lactone recognized active sites acrolein...
Nanodiamond can catalyze the decomposition of methane, and its initial rate is linearly dependent on number -CH=CH- defective sites. Thermal treatment improves ordering surface atoms, resulting in an inferior activity but a more stable performance over long period time, above 1300 °C few-layered graphene be found.
A highly dispersed Ru/OCNT catalyst synthesized through a facile ethylene glycol reduction approach shows more uniform particle size distribution with ∼1.0 nm compared that prepared conventional impregnation method. Moreover, it also has good thermal stability evidenced by an in situ TEM study.
Abstract BACKGROUND Purple corn ( Zea mays L.) is one of the main economic crops in China and has been used treatment cystitis, urinary infections obesity. However, purple corncobs, by‐product remaining after processing having an intense purple‐black color, are normally disposed as waste or animal feed. Therefore, to further expand medicinal value corncob, its content was analyzed and, purification, effect mechanism purified corncob anthocyanins (PPCCA) on CCl 4 ‐induced chronic liver injury...
Photoorganocatalytic alkylation of azomethine imines by 4-alkyl- and 4-acyl-substituted Hantzsch esters under blue LED light to give 1-alkyl- 1-acyl-substituted-pyrazolidin-3-ones.
Nitrogen-modified carbon nanotubes (N-CNT) as a novel heterogeneous catalyst exhibit excellent performance in selective oxidation of allyl alcohol (C3H6O).
A synthetic method that enables the regio- and chemoselective gold( i )-catalysed azo coupling of 1,2- 1,4-diazoquinones with 1 H -indoles to give a wide range ( E )-3-arylazoindoles is reported.
This paper studies the reduction of NO in rebuming zone using three different Chinese chars (Xiao-longtan lignite char. Fulaerki char and Datong bituminous char) as reburning fuels. At first, effect metal oxides contained ashes on is investigated. Then rates impregnated catalyst solutions are investigated compared with case without impregnation. Experiments were conducted under conditions initial concentration 1,000 ppm reaction temperatures 900°C 1100 °C. Experimental results show that...
A zigzag-type quinone performs better than an armchair-type in the reduction of nitrobenzene. When different kinds functionalities co-exist, reaction is dominated by most active sites, but negative sites should also be taken into consideration if acitive have zigzag structures.
Abstract Background Liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) based quantitation of infliximab has been successfully introduced in the clinical laboratory for therapeutic drug monitoring recent years. Although stable isotope labeled (SIL)-peptide or non-labeled analog protein internal standards have utilized, SIL-whole is generally considered to be ideal standard correction variations during sample preparation and analysis. In this study, we compared two commercially...
NO reduction by lean coal chars with emphasis on the effect of adding catalyst KOH to efficiency was studied. The experiments were conducted in a drop-tube furnace at temperatures 1173-1323 K under fuel-rich conditions. Experimental data for obtained using containing different contents are compared and, thus, effort addition can be revealed. results show that ability original char is very poor, but enhanced appreciably when added into char. This explained fact strongly catalyze lead Gas...
