Shipping serves as an important component of global trade, with speed being a key attribute closely tied to navigational resistance. Amid rising marine pollution, the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) requires shipowners modify ships comply existing requirements. Herein, focusing on static water sailing resistance, whole-ship hull line optimisation was conducted for Japan Bulk Carrier (JBC). The included bulbous bow, inflow and outflow sections, parallel mid-body. Initially, random...

Correlational studies of order noise sample tuning and subjective evaluation test sound quality were conducted to achieve sporty confirm the correlation between auditory sense (subjective) level (objective) vehicle exhaust under acceleration. First, frequency range ingredient confirmed by a study ear-hearing feeling on basis physiological acoustics. By using an software that was developed independently, second, fourth, sixth A-weighting pressure (dB(A)) objective tuned segmentally into...

Combining substructure and power flow theory, in this paper an external program is written to control MSC. Nastran solution process the frequency response are also formulated accordingly. Based on a simple vehicle model, characteristics of vibration, noise, studied, respectively. After being compared with result conventional FEM (finite element method), new method confirmed be feasible. When it comes problem low-frequency finite models substructures for body chassis established, In addition,...

Current ammonia sensors exhibit cross-sensitivity to water vapor, leading false alarms. We developed a core-shell nanofiber (CSNF) structure address these issues, using conductive poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) as the core and hydrophobic polyvinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene (PVDF-TrFE) shell. The PEDOT-PVDF CSNF, with diameter of ~500 nm 300 thick PVDF layer, showed superior sensitivity humidity resistance compared conventional PEDOT membranes for concentrations 10-100 ppm....

The noise characteristic of an entire single-cylinder gasoline engine was tested through acoustic spectral and intensity analyses to solve its abnormal problem in idling condition. Then, the noises were identified as piston impact caused by anomalous dynamic performance mechanism. A multibody model established on basis key structure parameters eliminate noise. improved optimizing structures. Analysis results showed that lateral force, secondary kinetic energy, friction power loss reduced...
