Resonances of solitons in one-dimensional space are studied theoretically taking the Sawada-Kotera equation with a nonvanishing boundary condition as an example. Two near resonant state exhibit new phenomena. They interact each other through emitting and absorbing third soliton. transmuted into singular after colliding other. at fuse other, or soliton splits two solitons.

The coercive field of permanent magnets decreases with increasing grain size. size dependence coercivity is explained by a dependent demagnetizing factor. In Dy free Nd2Fe14B magnets, the factor ranges from 0.2 for 55 nm to 1.22 8300 nm. comparison experimental data micromagnetic simulations suggests that in hard due non-uniform magnetostatic polyhedral grains.
