A new route for synthesizing diisocyanates containing a furan ring structure from renewable biomass is proposed. The yield of each step high, and the reaction conditions are mild easy to operate, offering prospects industrialization.
In this study, metallic vanadium was used as catalysts for direct amination of toluene with hydroxylamine to produce toluidine under mild conditions. High conversion and selectivity were obtained, corresponding 87.62% 96.45% respectively. Additionally, thermodynamic kinetic calculations carried out. It concluded that the reaction dominated by kinetics, distribution three products being para > ortho meta. The computational experimental results indicated process involves an amino radical mechanism.
A new method for synthesizing 2-aminomethylpiperidine by selective hydrogenolysis of bio-renewable 2,5-bis(aminomethyl)furan was developed. The yield can reach 72% under mild conditions at 140 °C and 1 MPa H 2 pressure.
