The effect of molecular weight (MW) on the polymorphous crystallization and melting behavior poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) were systemically studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarized optical microscopy (POM), wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), time-resolved Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. It was found that polymorphism PLLA is not influenced much MW, α'- α-form crystals are produced at low high temperature (Tc), respectively, regardless MW. However, MW...
Effects of annealing conditions and molecular weight (MW) on the crystalline phase transition in poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) were studied by wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The disordered crystal (α′-form) PLLA was found to into α one during process at elevated temperatures. α′-to-α is quite dependent period (ta: 0−1440 min) temperature (Ta: 120−160 °C). With increasing Ta, polymorphic progresses much...
ABSTRACT The uniaxially stretched blend films comprising poly(butylene adipate‐co‐terephthalate) (PBAT) and poly(ε‐caprolactone) (PCL) were prepared using a twin‐screw extruder with the objective of modifying properties PBAT film. mechanical properties, gas permeability potential applications in cherry tomatoes modified determined evaluated. addition PCL resulted notable increase stiffness films. Nevertheless, no alterations observed oxygen comparison to neat CO 2 water vapour exhibited...
Abstract The crystalline structure of poly( L ‐lactide) (PLLA) have been found to quite depend on the crystallization temperatures ( T c s), especially in range 100−120°C, which is usually used as temperature for industrial process PLLA. analysis wide‐angle X‐ray diffraction and Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy revealed that 110°C a critical PLLA crystallization. At < ≥ 110°C, α′ α crystals were mainly produced, respectively. Besides, structural feature α′‐form was illustrated,...
Abstract Poly( L ‐lactide) (PLA) was melt‐blended with four rubber components—ethylene–propylene copolymer, ethylene–acrylic rubber, acrylonitrile–butadiene (NBR), and isoprene (IR)—in an effort to toughen PLA. All the blend samples exhibited distinct phase separation. Amorphous PLA constituted a topologically continuous matrix in which particles were dispersed. According Izod impact testing, toughening achieved only when blended NBR, showed smallest particle size its samples. In agreement...
The effects of miscible blending on the crystallization kinetics and crystalline structure poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), polarized optical microscopy (POM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). It was confirmed that blends PLLA poly(d,l-lactide) (PDLLA) are at all compositions. Due to dilution effect, hindered with presence PDLLA. PLLA/PDLLA show irregular or ring-banded spherulites....
Abstract Plastics have remained the best choice for fruit and vegetable packaging due to their exceptional transparency, flexibility, optional good barrier cost‐effectiveness. However, a large number of plastics end up in environment after serving intended purpose persist there centuries. Since worldwide attention environmental issues has become an irreversible historical trend, cost‐effective renewable biodegradable material is highly desirable industry satisfy both industrial demands as...
Effects of physical aging temperatures (Ta 40 and 50 °C) times (ta 0−840 h) on the crystallization kinetics as well induction periods poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) have been studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) time-resolved Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The rate PLLA increases considerably after process. According to DSC analysis, temperature (Tc) nonisothermal half-time (t1/2) in isothermal decrease nearly logarithmically with ta investigated region. With...
The effects of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) component on the crystallization kinetics, crystalline structure, phase transition, and morphology polymorphic poly(butylene adipate) (PBA) in their miscible PVDF/PBA binary blends have been investigated. polymorphism PBA can be regulated upon blending with PVDF. incorporated PVDF faciliates formation α-crystal, which is probably attributed to thermodynamic kinetic contributions. From it was found that a small amount acts as nucleating agent...
PLA/PEB SMPs with tunable shape memory and self-healing properties were prepared by end functionalization of PLA–PEB–PLA UPy units.
Summary Food poisoning is a major issue worldwide. However, methods for identifying contaminants in foods are inefficient. Here, solid dye was designed mutton freshness monitoring by incorporating blueberry‐derived anthocyanins and degradable poly‐l‐lactic acid (PLLA). The easily processed into ink, soft transparent film nanofibre film. prepared electrostatic spinning (sensor) showed good colour stability at 4–25 °C. As the ammonia concentration increased, sensor changed from pink to light...
The nucleation effects of α-cyclodextrin (α-CD) and its inclusion complexes (ICs) with poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL), poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG), poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) on the crystallization PCL, PEG, PBS were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) polarized optical microscopy. formations ICs α-CD characterized DSC, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD), solution 1H NMR. WAXD studies showed that all α-CD-ICs adopt a channel...
Abstract Biodegradable polymeric composites were fabricated from poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) and kenaf fiber (KF) by melt mixing technique. The mechanical dynamic properties, morphology crystallization behavior investigated for PBS/KF with different KF contents (0, 10, 20, 30 wt %). tensile modulus, storage modulus the rate of PBS in all efficiently enhanced. With incorporation 30% KF, (at 40°C) composite increased 53 154%, respectively, temperature cooling process at 10°C/min was 76.3 to...
Myofibers play a crucial role in both locomotor function and the quality of animal meat, Lactobacillus paracasei inhabit gut host ultimately benefit that host. This current investigation explored combined effects MBH3-2 slightly acidic hypochlorous water (SAHW) on growth, serum biochemical indicator muscle fiber characteristics mice. Experimental groups received 108 colony-forming units (CFU) for 42 days. It was observed combination Lb. 10 mg/L SAHW had positive impact body weight with 7.6%...
