Several severe stressful situations, e.g., natural disaster, infectious disease out break, and mass casualty, are known to cause anxiety, depression cognitive impairment, preventive intervention for these stress complications is worth exploring. We have previously reported that the serotonin-norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor, venlafaxine, as well voluntary wheel running effective in treatment of anxiety- depression-like behaviors stressed rats. But whether they able prevent...

Oral calcium and plus vitamin D supplements are commonly prescribed to several groups of patients, e.g., osteoporosis, fracture, deficiency. Adequate steady extracellular levels essential for neuronal activity, whereas certain forms supplement (e.g., CaCO 3 ) probably interfere with memory function. However, it was unclear whether a long-term use ionized (calcium chloride in drinking water ad libitum ), (oral gavage) or the combination both affected anxiety memory, latter which dependent on...

Endurance swimming is known to increase duodenal calcium absorption in normal rats and bone strength estrogen-deficient rats. Because the stress resulting from forced training often attenuates stimulatory effect of exercise, an inescapable chamber should reveal both positive exercise negative stress. In work reported herein, showed no signs during 2 weeks training. However, response gradually developed thereafter peaked at 6 7. for weeks, transcellular transport was enhanced ~2-fold....

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced physiology educators to use online teaching. At the time of this work, there was no research investigating effectiveness and face-to-face lab teaching in undergraduate students. A synchronized a virtual classroom on Microsoft Teams platform successfully implemented. Our data showed that could make students understand concepts have same as onsite experience.
