The present work aimed to study the composition and antimicrobial properties of essential oil Helichrysum ibityense leaves (HIEO). HIEO was extracted by hydrodistillation from fresh with a yield 1.9%. It had relative density 0.9247 at 20℃, refractive index 1.4706, an optical rotation -0°33, acid 2.10 ester 54. Gas chromatography analysis/flame ionisation detection identified 17 components, representing more than 99.54% overall including 1.8-cineole (69.46%) major component, α-terpinene...

The present work aims to evaluate the chemical composition, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties of essential oil from Cryptocarya ovalifolia van der Werff (COEO) leaves collected in Mandraka forest. COEO was extracted by steam distillation fresh leaves, with a yield 0.7%. appeared as clear liquid, yellow, pleasant odour relative density 0.8943 at 20 °C, refractive index 1.4746, an optical rotation – 31°13, acid 0.638 ester 6.375. Human cysticercosis caused by Taenia soliun (T. soliun) is endemic in certain areas of Latin America, Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Neurocysticercosis (NCC) mainly diagnosed neuroimaging, which, most cases, unavailable areas. Due to their high sensitivity specificity, serological tests such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) Western blot (WB) based on the glycosylated fraction cyst CS50 are widely used for detection anti-cysticercus IgG antibodies despite significant cost need...

Abstract Background: In low-income countries, rapid discard of cysticercosis suspected pigs from the meat chain, is a key step to preserve customers. Unfortunately, in most place only visual inspection carcasses practiced. Despite their fluctuant specificity serological tests performed living animals before entry at slaughterhouse, could be better and easier approach promote. However, recombinant antigens must developed evaluated improve accessibility diagnosis. this study, five have been...

The present work aims to study the chemical composition and antimicrobial toxicological properties of essential oils (EOs) Apodocephala pauciflora leaves (LEO) stem bark (BEO). LEO BEO were extracted from fresh material by hydrodistillation with a yield 0.1%. They are light, light yellow, strong smelling dextrorotatory. Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis identified 42 components in 38 representing 97.54% 99.44% overall respectively. In LEO, major α-pinene (27.5%), sabinene...
