Path loss for non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation in urban streets with a low base station antenna is simulated. Typical path curves are shown to be characterized by three, slopes and two break points. The exponents each part at different frequency calculated. the road width's effects on discussed. An explanation results also included this paper.

The tangential momentum accommodation coefficient (TMAC), usually used in slip boundary conditions micro-gas flows, is reported to be always less than unity and greatly influenced by temperature the strength of gas–wall interactions. According definitions coefficients, a proper statistical algorithm non-equilibrium molecular dynamics method was described verified. In planar Poiseuille gas flow smooth microchannel, TMAC were calculated considering both effects interaction. simulation...

A novel planar switched parasitic array antenna has been proposed for wireless communication. Compared with conventional antennas, this more compact structure and steered conical elevation pattern. Simulation measurement have carried out to validate the design. PIN diodes micro-controller unit (MCU) are used implement a beam switching system. Experimental results show that capacity provide switching.

The tangential momentum and energy accommodation coefficients (TMAC EAC) are parameters to characterize the velocity slip temperature jump in gas–solid interface. To understand wall effects on fluid flow heat transfer nanochannels, for argon gas molecules platinum atoms were calculated according a proper statistical algorithm using three-dimensional molecular dynamic method. Isothermal flows thermal conductions simulated smooth rough which roughness ranged from 0.2 nm 1.4 nm. From atomic...

Abstract A gas-cooled nuclear reactor combined with a Brayton cycle shows promise as technology for high-power space power systems. Generally, helium–xenon gas mixture molecular weight of 14.5–40.0 g/mol is adopted the working fluid to reduce mass and volume turbomachinery. The Prandtl number mixtures this recommended mixing ratio may be low 0.2. As convective heat transfer closely related number, different correlations are often needed fluids various numbers. Previous studies have...

This paper presents a physical description of the cathode plasma process an explosive emission (EEC) and experimental results on type oil-immersed graphite EEC. It is believed that generation mainly dependent state surface, adsorbed gases dielectrics surface play leading role in formation plasma. Based these ideas, EEC proposed fabricated. The experiments indicate cathodes have improved emissive properties longer lifetimes.
