A compact wideband high-rejection microstrip bandstop filter (BSF) is presented. This combines two traditional BSFs: open-stub and spurline filter. Due to the inherently characteristics of spurline, proposed shows a better rejection performance than BSF without increasing circuit size. From 3.7 5.4 GHz, has 20 dB maximum level 61 dB. Application this suppress second harmonic an open-loop ring bandpass also investigated with 40-dB suppression improvement achieved.
Integration of bandstop filters with the or bandpass filter are presented in this paper. By replacing series quarter-wavelength connecting lines conventional open-stub bandpass/bandstop equivalent T-shaped lines, one could have compact bandstop/bandpass second harmonic suppression. Transmission-line model calculation is used to derive design equations lines. Experiments also been done validate concept. Compared filters, over 30-dB improvement suppression and 28.6% size reduction achieved.
This letter describes a compact 5.8-GHz rectenna using stepped-impedance dipole antenna. In comparison to the conventional uniform half-wavelength antenna, antenna shows 23% length reduction. is then used receive microwave power for rectenna. The maximum conversion efficiency of 76% at 5.8 GHz with load resistance 250 Omega. Furthermore, better than 67% from 5.725 5.875 GHz, which covers entire ISM band.
