Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have demonstrated numerous physicochemical, biological, and functional properties suitable for biomedical applications, including antibacterial drug carrier properties. In the present study, antibiotic, ciprofloxacin (CIP), was loaded onto AgNPs, which were synthesized via chemical reduction method, thereby enhancing CIP's activity against Gram-negative (Acinetobacter baumannii Serratia marcescens) Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) bacterial strains....
Diabetic foot is a catastrophic complication of diabetes. This study included isolation and identification three types bacteria that cause diabetic ulcers, fifty-five isolates Staphylococcus aureus, thirty-five Acinetobacter baumannii, thirty Serratia marcescens. These were obtained from patients at different private clinics in around Baghdad Medical City Hospital. The proportion male was greater than females, it noted the age group (51-68 years) more ages affected by foot. showed high...
