This paper rst analyzes the issues of traditional instruction-driven and data-driven processors, as well trend recon gurable computing processor. Afterwards, hardware architecture compiler techniques processor are discussed, focusing on challenges facing HW/SW corresponding applications. Then, a media processor, called REMUS (REcon MUltimedia System), its development tools proposed. Finally, vision generalpurpose is presented.
