The high upper critical field and low anisotropy of iron-based superconductors make them being particularly attractive for high-field applications. However, the current carrying capability needs to be enhanced by overcoming weak-link effect between misaligned grains inside wire tape conductors. High critical current density $({J}_{c})$ values in superconducting wires/tapes are desirable for high magnetic field applications. Recently developed pnictide exhibit exceptional properties such as temperature $({T}_{c})$, upper $({H}_{c2})$, and almost field-independent ${J}_{c}$. Despite the great fabrication efforts, however, newly discovered still not able to replace low-temperature superconductors $\mathrm{N}{\mathrm{b}}_{3}\mathrm{Sn}$, due their inferior ${J}_{c}$ values.
