Abstract We aimed to estimate the incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) of stomach cancer at global, regional, national levels. Stomach resulted in 1.3 million (1.2–1.4 million) incident cases, 9.5 hundred thousand (8.7–10.4 thousand) deaths, 22.2 (20.3–24.1 DALYs 2019. The age-standardized incidence rate, death rate DALY were 15.6 (14.1–17.2), 11.9 (10.8–12.8), 268.4 (245.5–290.6) per 100,000 person-years, respectively. Between 1990 2019, global decreased by −...

Abstract We aim to report the latest incidence, mortality, and disability‐adjusted life‐years (DALYs) between 1990 2019, by age, sex, sociodemographic index (SDI), provide predictions 2035. use estimates from Global Burden of Disease, Injuries, Risk Factors Study 2019 analyze DALYs. All were shown as counts age‐standardized rates (ASR). In there more than 176,501 (156,046 199,917) incidence cases, with ASRs 2.1 (1.9 2.4). Objective. The aim of the study is to provide burden cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) in 21 regions, 204 countries, and territories from 1990 2019 by age, sex, sociodemographic index (SDI) predict global cSCC 2035. Methods. We use estimates Global Burden Disease (GBD) conduct analysis prediction. was estimated for 2019, through a systematic incidence, death, disability adjusted life years (DALYs) modelled data using methods reported GBD study. predicted age-standardized incidence...

Head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC) is a common malignant cancer. We aimed to explore prognostic cuproptosis-related lncRNAs (CRLs) risk models for HNSCC.The transcriptome profiles clinical data were obtained from the TCGA database, 19-cuproptosis-related genes (CRGs) acquired previous studies. Then, model based on seven CRLs was established. analysed its value evaluate prognosis, drug sensitivity, tumour immune functions of patients with HNSCC. Finally, we used quantitative reverse...

Paclitaxel exerts its cytotoxic effect by kinetic suppression of microtubules that block cells in the G2/M phase cell cycle and trigger apoptosis. To investigate apoptosis induced paclitaxel nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), possible molecular mechanism action, human NPC lines HNE-1 (bearing wild-type p53) CNE-2 mutant were treated with different concentrations paclitaxel. Apoptosis was determined staining propidium iodide also DNA fragmentation. Protein expression levels p53, bcl-2 bcl-xl...

Taxol is a first-line chemoagent used for treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). A major obstacle to achieving successful the development cellular taxol drug resistance. Aberrant DNA methylation has been recognized be associated with transcriptional inactivation genes related cancer resistance development. To identify mechanism involved in NPC resistance, we applied genome-wide microarray assay reveal alteration taxol-resistant cell lines (CNE-1/taxol, 5-8F/taxol, HNE-2/taxol)...
