Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a frequent arrhythmia associated with cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are DNA fragments cytoplasm proteins released from neutrophils, which involved in various diseases. To elucidate the role of NETs AF, we investigated effect on AF progression secretion AF. Results showed that: induced autophagic apoptosis cardiomyocytes, also led to mitochondrial injury by promoting depolarization ROS production. Ongoing tachy-pacing...

Two novel iridoid–phenylethanoid glycoside heterodimers, verbenalinoside A (1) and B (2), along with two known precursors, verbenalin (3) verbascoside (4) were isolated from the dry aerial parts of Verbena officinalis. Verbenalinoside possesses a new 5/6/6/6 core fused by double bond iridoid phenolic hydroxyl groups phenylethanoid unit. (2) is conjugate an ether bond. The structures these compounds elucidated through comprehensive analysis spectroscopic data, supported electronic circular...

In this article, we have demonstrated a smart pH-modulated two-way photoswitch that can reversibly switch ion transport under alternating light exposure over wide pH range. This was prepared by functionalizing the interior of single conical glass nanochannel with poly-spiropyran-linked methacrylate (P-SPMA) polymer through surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization. The P-SPMA brushes comprise functional groups are responsive to and pH, which cause configuration charge changes...

Alpine lakes are usually unaffected by anthropogenic disturbance, yet these aquatic ecosystems highly sensitive to climate warming and atmospheric deposition. It is unclear how water quality of alpine has responded environmental changes. Unprecedented degradation in (characterized nutrient enrichment phytoplankton blooms) had occurred the Tianchi Lake, an lake Tianshan Mountains. Here we measured dust precipitation chemistry assess source, magnitude, impact deposition on stoichiometry Lake....

p -type conduction in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) films was achieved by beryllium implantation and subsequent rapid thermal annealing treatment. The dependence of phase composition electrical properties hBN on the fluence studied. A maximum resistivity reduction six orders magnitude demonstrated. Hall measurements revealed a corresponding hole concentration 3×1019 cm−3 mobility 27 cm2/V s. activation energy Be ions estimated to be 0.21 eV. It is suggested that promising wide bandgap...

Abstract Photodynamic therapy (PDT) proves highly effective in addressing melanoma, and its synergy with targeted offers a promising avenue tumor treatment. However, the therapeutic outcome is largely impeded by challenge of current photosensitizers drugs reaching deep tissues. Herein, dually‐layered “microneedle rocket” termed PcNP/TRA‐HA‐Tyr/CLG‐MN designed. The upper layer microneedle (MN) composed photodynamically active mesoporous silica nanoparticles, featuring covalently bonded to...

Superhydrophobic surfaces were achieved on the hardest and second materials, diamond cubic boron nitride (cBN) films. Various surface nanostructures of nanocrystalline (ND) cBN films constructed by carrying out bias-assisted reactive ion etching in hydrogen/argon plasmas; it is shown that nanostructuring may enhance dramatically hydrophobicity ND Together with fluorination, superhydrophobic a contact angle greater than 150° sliding smaller 10° demonstrated. The origin enhancement discussed...

Fluorescent polymers have attracted interest in many fields such as sensing, diagnostics, imaging, and organic electronic devices. Real-time techniques to monitor understand the polymerization process are important for obtaining controllable fluorescence polymers. We present a new technique situ growth of fluorescent polymer brushes by using angle-scanning based surface plasmon coupled emission (AS-SPCE) approach during electrochemically mediated atom-transfer radical polymerization. The...

Municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) bottom ash could be solidified with fly addition at 100 °C, and the flexural strength of specimens reached almost 20 MPa. The development was found to due mainly C–S–H gel formation. Leaching tests were conducted determine amount heavy metals dissolved from specimens, results showed that, under hydrothermal conditions this study, leaching very low. As such, it is possible solidify MSWI by 100% (80% + 20% ash) in a continuous production process low cost.
